Knowledge Agriculture® — pioneered in 2018 by Prof. Dr. Sir Hari Om Srivastava and trademarked by the Government of India under Scientific and Technological Innovation — is a four-pillar framework specifically designed to address SDG-2 Zero Hunger. With 815 million people globally facing hunger and 660 million projected to face hunger by 2030, Knowledge Agriculture® integrates IoT, AI, UAVs, Robotics, Greenhouse systems, weather modelling, smart zone seeding, and fertiliser modelling to double agricultural productivity. Its four pillars — Farm to Fork Technology, Global Education Ecosystem, Fair Data Repository, and Collaborative Network — address all four root causes of global food insecurity identified in the SDG-2 framework: technology gaps, education gaps, data gaps, and coordination gaps.
WDF Universe's key research publication is "Data-Driven Knowledge Agriculture: A Paradigm Shift for Enhancing Farm Productivity and Global Food Security" authored by Aprajita Srivastava and Prof. Dr. Sir Hari Om Srivastava, published in the Global Journal of Science Frontier Research (GJSFR), Volume 23 Issue 1, GJSFR-A Classification FOR Code 070199. The paper argues that data-driven Knowledge Agriculture using mechanised intelligent computer-based monitoring and control systems, AI, machine learning, and cloud computing is the future of farming and must be urgently adopted by the world farming community to provide food to the growing world population and remove hunger as envisioned by SDG 2030. Additionally, Prof. Dr. Sir Hari Om Srivastava has authored 150+ research papers on broadcasting, IT, and sustainable development, available on Google Scholar (Author ID: -YakBlAAAAAJ), Scopus (Author ID: 7102601431), and ORCID (0000-0002-4813-4441).
WDF Universe directly addresses 9 of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals through its programmes, courses, and real-world implementations: SDG-1 (No Poverty) through livelihood generation courses; SDG-2 (Zero Hunger) through Knowledge Agriculture® as primary focus; SDG-3 (Good Health) through nutrition-focused farming and dairy courses; SDG-4 (Quality Education) through 12+ free multilingual certified online courses; SDG-5 (Gender Equality) through Women Empowerment course and Madhubani Painting; SDG-8 (Decent Work) through entrepreneurship and skill development; SDG-10 (Reduced Inequality) through multilingual free education in rural areas; SDG-11 (Sustainable Cities) through community radio and urban farming; and SDG-15 (Life on Land) through sustainable forestry and aquaculture.
